Hey, I’m Vedant, a Computer Science student at Georgia Tech.
I just wrapped up a summer internship at Expedia in Seattle, where I built
scalable data pipelines to process, analyze, and triage flight booking failures.
I’ve also worked with startups, most notably AskTailr in fashion tech where I built a recommendation pipeline that helps users discover and buy real garments. Outside of that, I’m usually at hackathons (I’ve won over $25,000 in prizes) or shipping side projects. Across them, I’ve grown 2,000+ active users while solving real pain points.

Building real-time observability into Expedia’s air booking funnel
Root-causing a dip in Purchase Success Rate used to mean one to four hours of hunting through service logs. A write-up of the Trino + Kafka ETL pipeline, the anomaly detection over 4.8M+ failed bookings, and the triage dashboard that replaced that hunt.
Building RideGT
Georgia Tech’s transit map could tell you where every bus was, but not how to get anywhere. How a heuristic in one Python file became a campus routing system on iOS, Android and the web, serving 2,000+ users.
Note: This site is still growing! I’m adding more experiences and projects over time, and for now have only included a selection of my most recent and notable work. I'm working to add more!
